The Friends of Finsbury Park Climate Change Project is funded by Defra's Climate Communication Fund – a UK wide climate change awareness campaign. It aims to inform people from the various communities around Finsbury Park about the causes and effects of climate change and to inspire them to take action to tackle this most urgent issue.
The Friends of Finsbury Park, with other local groups and organisations, organised Finfest 2006, which featured the Climate Change Yurt with interactive activities about climate change and the Eco Leadership Workshop, which engaged people from all over London in participatory learning about climate change.
On this website you will find information and resources that can be used in various climate change projects – for adults and young people and for people with different level of awareness and knowledge of the subject.
You will find games and activities we used in our workshop and in the festival and
free posters and postcards in six community languages available for groups wanting to carry out climate change projects.
