Finfest is a free celebratory festival for users of Finsbury Park and local residents. The theme for this year's festival is ecology and the environment.

The festival is an annual opportunity for local groups and organisations to showcase their talents alongside professional acts and entertainers. Finfest aims to capture the imagination of the community that it serves, harness local enthusiasms, and assist in forging new partnerships.

This year Finfest are host to the Green Roadshow, the UK’s first national touring Eco-centre providing a unique experience combining hands-on activitity, entertainment, displays and exhibitions .

To accompany this there will be live music stages with a multicultural programme of local bands and performers as well as community groups and youth projects. A children's area, sports activities around the park, bike workshops, art, craft and information stalls and a variety of food and drink stalls.

Finfest is brought to you by the Friends of Finsbury Park, with funding from the Climate Challenge Fund, London Development Agency, Haringey and Islington Councils as well as support from local business.

Finfest is now in it’s sixth year and last year attracted audiences in the region of 16,000 throughout the day.
