It was great to see so many people streaming through Finsbury Park at the weekend as part of the Walk London Autumn Ambles event, in conjunction with Transport for London. The five mile guided walk that came through our park started at Highgate, came down the Parkland Walk (which is London’s longest nature reserve), through Finsbury Park, and on to Stoke Newington Reservoirs, Clissold Park, and Abney Park Cemetery. It’s part of the Capital Ring route, which is seventy eight miles long and takes in some of London’s greenest suburbs along the way.

The Capital Ring, which TFL say offers you the chance to see some of London’s finest scenery, is one of seven walking routes around London, which are all broken down into manageable sections.

You can find full maps and downloadable sections on the TFL website
