The Wireless organiser (Festival Republic) must promote these four licensing objectives.

  1. The prevention of crime and disorder
  2. The prevention of public nuisance
  3. Public safety at licensed premises
  4. The protection of children from harm

Wireless Festival is back, this time taking place over two weekends starting with the ticketed Community Festival on July 1st, and ending with the three day Wireless on 7th, 8th and 9th July.

If the noise from these events affects you, either during setup up, on event days or during takedown, we'd like to hear from you! Please download and fill in the noise diary and either send it back to the address below, or take a photo of the form and email it to us at We are particularly interested in noise on Saturday 8th July.

We had many complaints of excessive noise and bass frequencies shaking local homes during Wireless last year so we are intending to gather evidence as we believe Haringey Council is not complying with it's licensing objectives. If you send the form back to us, we may use it as evidence in a licence review with your consent.

When filling in The Noise Diary think about how the noise affects you in your home.

  • Do you have to close your windows when you would otherwise leave them open?
  • Do you have to turn your TV or radio up during Wireless?
  • Does noise affect your children sleeping?
  • Does noise affect your children's exam study?
  • Are you elderly or do you have elderly or more vulnerable neighbours or relatives affected by noise?
  • Do you move out, stay at a friends house or go on holiday because of noise?
  • Is on-site noise affecting you on non event days - banging, power tools, generator noise, loud vehicles, cranes, traffic movement?
  • Are there any other ways noise affects you in your home?
  • Please take video footage when you can to show how the noise affects you

We would urge you to call any of the following numbers if you are being disturbed at any time by noise or anti-social behaviour of festival goers or if you find drugs paraphernalia in the park/surrounding streets and would be grateful if you could report to us that you have complained and the nature of that complaint, perhaps with photographic evidence to back up the complaint. It is important to log any complaint even if you believe it won't help as all calls are logged.

PLEASE NOTE: When we pointed out last year that residents had reported drugs being stashed in bushes and drug sales, the Council responded that this is criminal behaviour and a matter for the police not them and there was no way of saying this was connected to Wireless; so we suggest that you report any criminal behaviour to the Police (getting a crime number in the process and reporting this to us) as the Council will not act on this.

Important note: If you do complain to any of the numbers above about noise, please ask them to send someone out to check the noise at your property, and it's very important to ask them what they are going to do about it.

If you experience any other incidents during setup, on event days and after the event while the venue is taken down, please fill in the following form. Please take photos or video when you can. If you have any general enquiries about Wireless please contact us or call one of the numbers below.
